Corey is a member of the JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group Investment Sales Asia team based in Hong Kong. Focusing on key markets in North Asia, Southeast Asia and the Indian Ocean, Corey is responsible for managing details relating to every aspect of hospitality investment analysis and transaction execution from the pitch and underwriting stage through marketing, due diligence and closing to achieve clients’ transaction execution goals and effectuate a smooth transition. Additionally, as a member of JLL’s Global Hotel Desk, Corey assists investors in the Asia Pacific region by discussing foreign hospitality market dynamics and facilitating exposure to opportunities globally.
Experience & Education
Corey joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 2011 based in the Los Angeles office with a focus on hospitality transactions in the western United States. He relocated to Singapore in January 2015 and subsequently to Hong Kong in August 2017 to focus on transactions in the Asia Pacific region as well as to assist with JLL’s Global Hotel Desk platform. Since joining, Corey has advised on over US$5 billion of diverse hospitality real estate transactions throughout Asia and the North America. Notable transaction experience includes the Grand Hyatt Seoul, Westin Resort Guam, Hoshino Resorts Tomamu in Hokkaido, Japan, Parc 55 Hotel in San Francisco, Ritz-Carlton Kapalua Resort in Hawaii, and Hyatt Regency Vancouver.
Prior to joining JLL, Corey worked with a Chicago-based hospitality investment and development firm. In that role, Corey was responsible for the underwriting, analysis and due diligence execution for hospitality acquisition and development opportunities across the United States.
Corey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Cornell University where he was a member of the varsity wrestling team.
