Yaso is a Managing Director at JLL Hotels & Hospitality. The services he covers range from investment sales, advisory, valuation, and other related activities in Japan.
Since joining the firm in January 2001 as a Vice President, Yaso has been playing a key role on various hotel transactions in Japan, including ANA 13-hotel portfolio, Hyatt Regency Hakone Resort & Spa as well as ANA Crowne Plaza Okinawa Harborview. With 19 years of experience in selling hotels, he has conducted USD 4.5 billion in hotel transactions to date across Japan.
Yaso has also been in charge of numerous hotel operator selections and hotel asset management in Japan.
Details for major conducted assignments include:
– Investment sale of ANA portfolio which comprises of 13 full-service hotels across Japan at the sales price of JPY 280 billion.
– Operator selection of InterContinental Hotel Osaka which is one of the top-tier luxury hotels in Osaka, Japan.
– Asset management of Sheraton Hotel Hiroshima, a leading hotel in Hiroshima.
Prior to joining the firm, Yaso worked for Goldman Sachs Realty Japan Limited where he was responsible for distressed loan asset management.
Yaso holds a bachelor degree in Law from The University of Tokyo and a master degree in Hospitality Management from Cornell University. He is a licensed real estate transaction supervisor.
